5.11 sales rose 4.9 percent in Q1 to $88.1 million with U.S. revenues 9.3 percent higher at $70.5 million for the period ended March 31. Velocity Outdoor, another company owned by parent Compass Diversified, generated a 27.6 percent increase in Q1 sales to $31.1 million. The company makes airguns, archery products and related gear under five brand names.
Brooks Running opens a new 400,000-sq. ft. distribution center in Whitestown, IN that has expansion capability. The facility will serve as the brand’s North American DC and employ more than 130 by 2023. Most orders will now arrive to consumers within three days via ground shipping.
