Brooks Running and OOFOS are among the brands rolling out special edition footwear in time for the April 15th running of the Boston Marathon. The Boston “T” Launch 6 from Brooks ($100 MSRP), inspired by Beantown’s public transportation system and the spirit of running Boston, features a one-piece mesh upper with a map of Boston’s subway system wrapping the heel. OOFOS’ limited-edition Boston sandals (MSRP $65) are available in either a sport slide or thong style. The OOFOS sandals feature “Boston” on one shoe and “26.2” on the other.
The NFL’s NY Jets have new uniforms for their upcoming 60th season. The Nike Vapor Untouchable features home, away and alternative uniforms with a green developed exclusively for the team and “New York” on the chest for the first time in team history.
Adidas Originals is introducing the latest styles developed by Tokyo’s Hender Scheme that celebrate the brand’s involvement with tennis and soccer, the Lacombe and Sobakov. Both styles are available for purchase on April 26.
